Having grown up in Cornwall, UK, Graham began his maritime career as a Deck Officer in the Merchant Navy onboard cruise ships and research vessels. In 2016 he started his yachting career and has served 10 years onboard Motor Yacht Joy. Beyond yachting, Graham has a passion for SCUBA diving, holding a PADI Divemaster certification. He revels in hiking, running, and conquering the slopes on skis during winter. Whether traversing new horizons through travel or embracing the adrenaline rush of motorcycling, Graham embraces life with a sense of adventure.

Jamie Miller

Perth, Australia

With an international upbringing, Jamie was born in Zimbabwe and from the age of nine, lived between the UK and Australia. Having served on Joy for many years, Jamie knows everything there is to know about the yacht. He previously dedicated nine years to a successful professional cricket career, competing at both county and state levels. Jamie has recently obtained his OOW Unlimited licence, and has his sights set on achieving a Captain licence in the future. Beyond that, Jamie aspires to broaden his horizons by pursuing qualifications as an aviation pilot. In Jamie’s spare time, he enjoys taking part in a round of golf or a game of tennis.

Joshua Fernandez-Oxby

Surrey, United Kingdom

Growing up in the Mexican Caribbean surrounded by the sea and boats from a young age, Joshua developed a strong comfort and confidence in and around the water. Coming from a family that owned a SCUBA diving business operating tours throughout the year, Joshua’s early exposure to the maritime environment laid a solid foundation for a career in the industry. Over the course of his career, Joshua has completed seasons in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Pacific regions. Beyond his professional endeavors, Joshua is passionate about filmmaking, exploring uncharted destinations, embarking on exhilarating 4×4 off-roading adventures, and savoring moments of relaxation on pristine beaches.

Rudolph van Wyk

Pretoria, South Africa

Rudy was raised in Pretoria, South Africa. He originally studied music to become a professional drummer, which he did for 5 years. After his music career, he swapped to personal training and moved to Cape Town to manage a gym. Whilst in Cape Town he transitioned again to becoming a kite surf instructor for yachts and deepened his passion for the water. Since then, Rudy has risen through the ranks to now being a Second Officer onboard. In his spare time he enjoys trail running, watersports and exploring the outdoors.

Nick Street-Brown

Manchester, United Kingdom

Nick’s journey began in his hometown of Manchester and he now has over 20 years of chef experience in restaurants, yachting and the private sector. His culinary mastery has taken him across the globe, from a prestigious 3 Michelin star restaurant in New York to a charming boutique château in France. His career highlights also include the opening of a one-hat restaurant in Australia, showcasing his diverse and refined culinary skills. Between these ventures, Nick has worked in numerous kitchens internationally gaining experience in a multitude of cuisines. Nick enjoys going on adventures with his kids, making sure they have good taste in music, playing sports, and of course discovering amazing food.

Bali, Indonesia

Ella grew up in the North West of England, gaining early hands-on experience working in her family catering business. This foundation, combined with an inclination for travel, led her into a career in yachting and she has spent the past eight years working across both the Mediterranean and Caribbean. With a commitment to exceptional service, Ella ensures every guest experience is seamless and memorable. Ella has also spent several winters as a chalet manager in Zermatt, Switzerland, where she developed her love of skiing and mountain life. Having travelled extensively, she has found her home in Bali, embracing a wellness orientated lifestyle. Outside of work she enjoys staying active through fitness, running, yoga and surfing.

Alana is a dedicated and personable yacht crew member with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Growing up on an English farm, Alana developed a strong work ethic, a love for horse riding, and an appreciation for teamwork-values that continue to shape her approach on board. Her first experience at sea, traveling to the Falkland Islands, confirmed her passion for yachting and set the foundation for her career. Alana takes great pride in providing an unparalleled quality of service, from crafting quality cocktails to ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable. In her spare time Alana enjoys staying active in the gym and brings that energy and positivity to Joy every day.

Growing up on the Cornish coast in the UK, surrounded by the sea and spending long summer days on her family boat, Amber developed a deep love for the water from an early age. Stepping into the professional yachting industry in 2025, Amber has been able to combine her passion for the ocean and travel with her love for creating relaxing and restorative experiences for guests. Amber has a degree in Rehabilitation in Sport and Exercise alongside qualifications in personal training, pilates, and a range of massage and beauty therapies. She is passionate about delivering a holistic approach to wellbeing and guest experience, and aspires to continue expanding her portfolio by becoming a yoga instructor and Thai massage therapist.

Having grown up on a farm in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, Louiza developed a strong appreciation for the outdoors and an adventurous, active lifestyle from an early age. Her upbringing instilled independence, adaptability, and a natural ability to live and work closely with others. Before joining the yachting industry in 2023, she worked as an au pair, strengthening her passion for service and caring for people. Since then, Louiza has travelled to over 26 countries covering 35,000 nautical miles, fostering a deep love for life at sea and the lifestyle that comes with yachting. She also has a keen interest in wellness and beauty therapy, having completed the Ultimate Yacht Therapist course. In her free time she enjoys an active lifestyle and exploring new destinations with her friends and family.

Octavia has a strong background in luxury hospitality, working across a range of five-star hotels and private residences in England. She has also completed a ski season in Verbier, Switzerland, further nurturing her love for the outdoors and fast-paced environments. During this time, she was part of teams that received multiple nationally and internationally recognised hospitality awards. Before entering the yachting industry in 2022, Octavia also built a foundation in business administration whilst working in the financial sector in London for two years. Now onboard Joy, Octavia has discovered a true passion for yachting and has career aspirations of becoming a Purser.

Growing up on the south coast of England played a significant role in shaping Holly’s life and naturally inspired her career in professional yachting. She started her ocean-going journey in 2022 and has since been enjoying creating memorable guest experiences whilst taking great pride in delivering a supreme standard of service. Holly aspires to keep progressing within the industry whilst further broadening her skillset with yoga and pilates training. After work, Holly enjoys maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle, being passionate about racket sports and regularly attending pilates classes.

Brandon Reimers

Johannesburg, South Africa

Coming from Johannesburg, South Africa, Brandon was brought up on the inland water parks and lakes, finally following in the footsteps of some of his family into yachting. He obtained his first professional maritime qualification in 2009, helping his family run classes on the water, and is now aiming to have his Officer of the Watch license very soon. Brandon’s love of travel has taken him to many countries and he plans to keep ticking new destinations off his list. In his spare time he enjoys team based activities, a round of golf and will jump at the chance to get the fishing rods out.

Andrew McGuinnes

Portsmouth, United Kingdom

Andrew brings a great blend of fitness expertise and maritime passion to his role as Deckhand Personal Trainer. Originally from London, he spent nine years working as a personal trainer with high-net-worth clients before transitioning to yachting in 2026. Andrew’s connection to the water runs deep, having grown up sailing on the southern UK coast. He holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has been kitesurfing seriously for six years, accumulating hundreds of hours on the water and holding an IKO kitesurf instructor certification. As Andrew progresses in his career he aspires to develop his watersports coaching skills and wellness programming techniques.

Marcel Kühn

Cape Town, South Africa

Marcel was born and raised in South Africa. From a young age, he developed a strong interest in carpentry, which led him to pursue formal studies in the field. He later transitioned to the fitness industry, qualifying as a personal trainer and spending five years working in a gym in Cape Town. After his time in Cape Town, he took his personal training online and pursued his love for the outdoors by becoming a qualified field guide in the African bush. Marcel enjoys an active lifestyle and spends his free time hiking, fishing, and being out in nature. He has since gained experience within the yachting industry and continues to build on his skills at sea, bringing a positive attitude, hands-on approach, and a passion for adventure at sea.

William Harms

Bristol, United Kingdom

Will grew up in Bristol, UK, but discovered his love for the water on the south coast of Devon and the Isles of Scilly. He has lasting memories of sailing in Greece with friends and family. A lifelong rugby player, Will has also recently developed an interest in golf. With a passion for travel and adventure, Will has explored multiple countries, and in 2024, combined his love for the ocean and travel by joining the yachting industry. Onboard Joy, his specialities are wakeboarding and basketball where his height is definitely an unfair advantage!

Kylu Kotze

Wellington, South Africa

Kylu hails from Wellington, a small town in South Africa surrounded by beautiful mountains and vineyards. Having started his yachting career in 2023, he joined the Joy crew in 2026 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. He has great drone pilot and videography skills so he can make stunning charter videos to record memories of the trip. In his spare time Kylu loves to keep fit and active with running, cycling and regular games of padel tennis. In 2025 he completed his first full marathon in Palma, Spain.

Andrew Ellaway

Fareham, United Kingdom

Andy was born and raised in the West Midlands in the UK and joined the Royal Navy at 20 years old where he served 23 years as a Marine Engineer. After completing his training and degree in Engineering Systems he served on frigates and destroyers. Andy left The Royal Navy as a Warrant Officer First Class and since then has transitioned to yachting via LNG Cargo ships to obtain his Chief Engineer Licence. Away from work he enjoys the gym, kart racing and spending time with his family. He is also an avid tennis and padel player, having played for the Royal Navy at the Wimbledon inter-service tennis championships and won the 2026 Royal Navy padel championship.

Martin Jepp

Martin comes from a small town in the southwest of England. With a solid foundation of 17 years of service in the Royal Navy, Martin transitioned into the yachting industry in 2015. Through dedication and hard work, Martin ascended to the role of Chief Engineer, gaining valuable experience on various yachts, including Joy’s launch in 2016. Beyond work, Martin enjoys fine-tuning his car, exploring new destinations, and cherishing moments with family and friends.

Carragh Martineau

Exmouth, United Kingdom

Carragh grew up sailing in Devon on the south coast of the UK. She started racing from a young age at her local sailing club and teaching at the sailing school. With salt in her blood and a strong desire to work and live on the ocean, she chose to become a Marine Engineer. She began her career over 10 years ago with the Royal Navy, and since then, Carragh has spent the past 6 years acquiring experience and knowledge on various large yachts. In her spare time, she enjoys kitesurfing, SCUBA diving, and traveling.

Martyn Caine

Dorset, United Kingdom

Marty resides on the south coast of the UK where marine engineering has been his career since he left school. Working onshore in shipyards for over 12 years, he transitioned into yachting in 2015. Since then, he has served as a Third Engineer, Electrical Engineer and now as Second Engineer on board Joy. Away from work, Marty is a keen mountain biker and traveller, and enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs.
